Our trips are designed to train the next generation of leaders through real experiences in the art of influence. The New York City Tour explores our nation’s largest city, from its amazing sights to its unique culture. New York is the center of the world in everything from business to art, and we will discuss how to be a leader in either of those fields. Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Dr. Joseph Allotta is teaching this course. He is a Professor Ministry with a Doctorate in Ministry and completing his PhD in Leadership.
Course: Understanding Culture: The Art and Influence of NYC – Throughout this course, we will study how history, tradition, and culture is formed using the backdrop of the most trendsetting place in the world – New York City.
Itinerary:
- March 8- Travel to NYC, The Empire State Building, Little Italy & Night Tour
- March 9- Central Park, Broadway Show & The Guggenheim Museum
- March 10- Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and 9/11 Memorial
- March 11- Return Home
Discipleship in Education is a direct provider for Step Up. This course is scholarship eligible for those with UA or PEP. Students 16 years old and in the 12th grade may travel with the group without a parent/chaperone. Other students must receIve permission and a parent/chaperone to attend.
