This past summer I took students to Rome, the Vatican, Athens, and Corinth.  These are places where the larger than life figures like the Apostles Paul and Peter actually walked and preached.  Bringing students to see such places talked about in the Bible brings a tangibility that cannot be created any other way.  We think that because students stare at their screens and can travel anywhere in the world in a millisecond that they won’t be impressed by the real thing.  It’s just not true.  Two dimensional words, pictures, or videos cannot compete with the grandeur, sounds, smells, and textures that the real world provides.  Help the Bible come to life for them.
