Coaches have an immense opportunity to disciple their players.  During the season, they spend more time with those students than their pastor, youth pastors, teachers, and parents combined.  But discipleship doesn’t happen by accident. Here’s how to get started:

  1. Set spiritual growth goals right along side of team and physical goals.
  2. Incorporate spiritual activities in conjunction with your training.
  3. Pour into each player individually.  The value here can be life-long.
